Methodology
How GoCitizen works
Two dimensions shape your journey
What you want to decide (find, compare or prepare) and where you are (planning, testing, living there or moving on). Questions and report structure adapt to both.
Location is not residence
We ask where you are and where you usually live separately. Being in a country is never treated as legal or tax residence.
Four kinds of information, always labelled
Sourced facts, editorial estimates, what you told us, and our recommendations are kept distinct in every report.
No artificial percentages
We explain each observation through your priorities, constraints and trade-offs.
Missing answers reduce certainty
“I don’t know yet” is fine. We lower the detail of related conclusions instead of inventing assumptions.
What we don’t do
We don’t create companies, submit visa applications or perform procedures, and we never certify your legal or tax situation.
